What is it?
- B1 = Business (meetings, conferences, contracts)
- B2 = Tourism/Visit (vacations, family visits, or medical treatment)
- Usually issued as a combined B1/B2 visa.
Who Can Apply?
- Anyone visiting the U.S. for a short stay.
- Must prove strong ties to home country (job, family, property).
- Must show enough funds for the trip.
Requirements
- Valid passport
- DS-160 form (online application)
- Visa fee payment receipt
- Visa interview appointment
- Supporting documents: bank statements, employment letter, invitation (if any), travel itinerary
